Dance Styles
Ballroom dancing is defined as a partnership dance where couples, using step patterns, move rhythmically, expressing the characteristics of the music. There is a set of dances included in ballroom dancing that are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world.
The expert instructors at Ballroom Class teach Ballroom and Latin classes such as the Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble. We also teach specialized dances such as West Coast Swing, Hustle, Argentine Tango, and Latin Line Dancing.
The classes rotate each month in order for students to learn and build on different dances.
With levels from novice to advanced, you can start from beginner and build your skill to expert.

Ballroom (Smooth)
The Smooth, or Standard style of ballroom dancing focuses on the elegance, formality, grace and fluidity of movement while moving around the entire dance floor. They are generally danced in a closed position, with an emphasis on posture. Smooth ballroom includes dances such as the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep.

Ballroom (Rhythm / Latin)
The Rhythm, or Latin style of ballroom dancing focuses on exhibiting vibrant energy and personal flair, where the couple usually dances in one spot on the dance floor. Latin dances are generally faster-paced, more sensual and have more rhythmic expression. This style includes the Jive, Rumba, Bolero, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, and Paso Doble.

Club Latin
Latin Club Dance is a general term covering the dances that are not performed in “normal” ballroom style, including the various Swing dances, Salsa and its variants, Bachata, Lambada, Hustle, Merengue, and more.
